Welcome to my new website, it’s about some of the items I have made in the last 12 years.
Pocket watch stand
Harold Griffiths lives in Little Oakley and took up woodturning as a retirement hobby about 10 years ago; he is a member the Colchester Woodturners Club and of the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain. Harold regularly enters club competition and produces items the club sell at Colchester Christmas Market in aid of local charities.
He also sells items at Its all Handmade in Dovercourt Essex.
The wood used by Harold either comes from off cuts from a local timber merchant or is collected by him from local tree surgeons, which is then dried and prepared. This provides a varied and sustainable source of material.
