Due to the sad death of our Webmaster, Chris Griggs, we are unable to access our website at the moment. We are using this temporary page to keep members updated.
We are a friendly club with a good mix of ages and a growing number of lady members, we have been running nearly 30 years (The exact date is currently lost in the mists of time)
The club welcomes all visitors whether from other clubs or just those who are interested or wanting to find out more about woodturning to come along to our monthly meetings.
We have regular demonstrations from professional woodturners and talented amateurs from our own club. We also have regular hands-on nights. Where you can try your hand at something new with an experienced turner at your side.

The TOLLGATE HALL, VILLA ROAD, STANWAY, CO3 0RH. This hall is behind the main Stanway Community centre in Villa Road. When arriving drive around the left-hand side of the Community hall towards the playing field. Then turn right and you will see the hall in front of you. It’s best not to try and use the postcode in a satnav, As some people end up in the nearby DIY store. Better to navigate to Villa road and look for the signs to Stanway Community centre.
